I was just wondering what you thought of my chances at admission to Dartmouth College. I applied Early Decision this last week. The statistics look as follows: SAT- 2240 (800M, 730CR, 710W) ACT- 33 (36E, 35M, 31R, 33S, 11 Essay) SAT II- 760 Math I, 750 Math II, 750 History Leadership- Eagle Scout, President of Political Action Club at school, Captain of Cross Country GPA- 4.259 on 4.0 scale (took APs) AP- 5 Calculus AB, 5 US History College Classes- Took a course at a local school (Calc II at University of New Haven) and recieved an A+ Essay- Wrote on my passion for Math Peer Rec- Amazing! Written by friend who is great writer Teacher Recs- Toss up. Probably average to above average Other Laurels- National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Latin Honor Society, All-Conference Academic 6x Class Rank- No rank school, but would be #2 Other Notes- #1 kid in class applying ED to Dartmouth as well with similar SAT score but lower SAT IIs by 100 pts.
Overall, this is my #1 by far and I am nervous about what is going to happen. I don't know how much ED does to the applicant, but I was wondering what you guys though. If there is any information that you think I am missing, let me know. Thanks so much!
