It's ranked very high, and focuses so much on its undergraduates in terms of research, activities, small class sizes, mentoring, etc. Why do people never mention it, or if they do, say it is a bad school?

In terms of getting into med school, their percent is (give or take 1-2%) the same as Princeton's! Clearly, med schools value Dartmouth students. Plus, their acceptance rate hovers around 10% with average SAT scores rivaling the other Ivies.

Additionally, they have severe grade deflation, so it's not like getting good grades there wouldn't be taken seriously.
